Introduction :
This type of CCTV camera can be considered the most special type of CCTV camera. Another name for the industrial camera is the box camera, which has a rectangular cube appearance and because it can install different lenses, such as Fix, Varifocal, Motorize, Auto Iris, as well as set with different types of bases and covers, it can be installed in all residential, office, commercial or industrial environments.
Advantages of BOX camera:
In the CCTV box, you can choose the type of weather protection (IP67, IP66, …), the camera resolution, the type of video signal, and, most importantly, the type of lens you need.
This feature of lens selection is an advantage over Dome cameras because they cannot replace the lens.
Disadvantages of BOX Camera:
These cameras are used for spaces that require a closed viewing angle, and it has limited usage.
Due to its appearance (box mode) and the direction of the lens, the box camera is weak compared to Dome cameras, Weakness means a few things:
First of all, for thieves, the direction of the lens is clear and they can pass in front of it with a cover or change its direction.
Second, the Box camera can only capture one direction, but the Dome camera rotates the lens in several directions (from 25 to 360 degrees).
