2-Network Video Recorder (NVR) is a complete system:

Video recording is a complete solution that includes computers and software and is not typically proprietary or expandable. It is similar to the Video Server system of a computer network that runs special video management software (VMS) and uses IP cameras to record video. Windows PCs are commonly used as VMS platforms. The video is recorded on a computer’s hard disk in a special video format. But instead of using a standard Windows computer, it uses a dedicated device with a dedicated operating system and application that is dedicated to recording video.

3- Cloud service:

This cloud solution provides remote recording (via the Internet) for IP cameras in different locations. You don’t need any computers on your site. The number of cameras supported in each location depends on the bandwidth available on the Internet. For example, if the Internet protocol has a cloud storage space, you will no longer need a storage device.
