Addressable system detectors have a switch-like part that is used to identify them by the central control panel.

In an addressable system, zoning seems to be less important than Conventional, because detectors can be identified by their dedicated identifier (address) and loop. However, expanding the loop detection in different regions can speed up the discovery of the location. Therefore, in such systems, although the regions are not in the form of circuits, according to the same criteria for determining the fire zone, They are considered virtual.

The maximum area of space that can be protected by a loop, if space is integrated, is 20,000 square meters, and accordingly, a loop covers 5 areas. In addressable systems, as in conventional systems, at least two audible alarm circuits must be considered.

Addressable detectors, like conventional detectors, have a predetermined factory sensitivity and relay function, except that they have a special addressing mechanism.

It should be noted that in addressable detectors it is possible to set the sensitivity level.

Typically, the process of operating a fire alarm command begins with the activation of the detectors automatically or manually by the knob. With the help of a special and irritable structure, the detectors send a signal to the central control panel, and after receiving the message, the central control panel determines the fire zone and the detected detector and activates the audio / visual announcers.
