Introducing the “Types of wireless antennas” service:

These antennas can be considered as a kind of network card that transmits data on radio waves (wirelessly) instead of using network cables.

Wireless Internet antennas are physical hardware that can receive or transmit radio waves. There are different types of wireless antennas that are produced in different shapes and brands, but the overall working mechanism is the same for all of them. How to work with wireless antennas is that one antenna is placed on the user’s side and the other antenna will be on the Internet provider’s side, and these two antennas will create a wireless communication line with each other.

In the use of wireless antennas, if there is no interference with these antennas, it is possible to establish radio communication and transmit information in the bandwidth of several tens of megabytes with Very high and good speed to a distance of 300 km.

Types of wireless antennas:

Antennas can be divided into two general categories: indoor and outdoor.

Outdoor antennas generally have a material, cover, and connection that can withstand harsh outdoor conditions such as wind, storm, snow, rain, cold, and extreme heat. While the antennas inside the building are made with a delicate appearance and cover and as beautiful as possible so as not to make the interior and decoration of the building ugly.

(Omni directional, Flat, Yagi, Parabolic, Dish Dual Pol, Sector)

Introducing antennas :

Omni directional

This type of antenna is used for Multipoint connections. The OMNI antenna antennas up to a distance of 1 km and have a 360-degree radiant angle. This type of antenna creates a large, circular signal field (all around itself). so signals with our movement are not interrupted. OMNI antennas are used in large places such as hotels, universities, shopping malls, etc., where there is the use of cordless and mobile phones. The signal of this antenna becomes weaker as it goes up and down. Therefore, its installation location is very important.

Flat
This antenna has a radiation angle of 10 degrees, which antennas up to a distance of 15 km, which is used for point to point connections. These types of antennas are installed on the tower and are used for point to point connections. The FLAT antenna must be installed opposite to each other, and this is very important in antenna installation.

parabolic
The parabolic antenna has a radiation angle of 6 to 9 degrees and covers distances below 15 km and is used for point-to-point connections. This antenna has a single and dual signal, but singles are currently used. It should be noted that the single signal has less bandwidth than the dual

Sector
The sector antenna is rectangular and is used for multi-point connections. It has a radiation angle of 60, 90, and 120 degrees and covers a distance of less than 3 km. The choice of radiation angle depends on the range. The wider the radiation angle, the lower the signal range. During installation, because it is installed on the tower, it must not be taken to install it standing completely, otherwise, we will have a very weak signal.

The dish antenna has a radiation angle of fewer than 4 degrees and it covers a distance of less than 100 km away and is used for point to point connections.
